In 1982 we started selling
antique paintings and prints but within a short while odd and unusual folk
art began to interest us. As our home started filling with tramp
art, crown of thorns, penknife whimseys, folk marquetry and rustic, we
offered the overflow of these vintage collectables to our customers.
And so - our specialization (some might say obsession) with late
18th & early 19th century American folk art became our passion and
business. Call us "collector dealers."
We are sponsors and the web-masters of the educational folk art websiteTramp-art.com (click to visit)Our way of sharing our interest, knowledge and study collectionLiving near the Adirondack Park in upstate New York, keeps us close to our customer base and the Adirondack folk culture reenergizes us with the make-do, recycle materials, camp-craft, aesthetic. We participate in various antique shows in the North Eastern, United States throughout the year and the internet has given us access to like-mined clients, collectors and the just plian curious. We thank you for visiting our online gallery and please contact us with your special decorating needs as our inventory is not fully revealed via this website.
